Almost Abstract started life as Chris' paintings and it grew
It grew from paintings to paintings and materials, then it added all sorts of prints and photographs
It got a web site and found ebay
It discovered ribbon and wool and sort of swallowed up chess sets
It grew so much, things got confusing, for buyers and for us
So now it's time for some things to 'leave home' and get a site of their own

Almost Abstract - Encaustic Painting ie painting with an iron
This is Chris' artwork, her original encaustic paintings, the wax materials, instructions on how to use them, her photographs and her prints in all their guises - magnetic bookmarks, magnetic address books, tobacco tins and keyrings as well as the more traditional sort you frame and hang on a wall.
Chris also cuts wooden jigsaw puzzles but we haven't got a website sorted for those yet, they don't stay available long enough.
